The RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster theory course is ideal for candidates for the Coastal Skipper practical course & Yachtmaster Offshore exam. Some revision of the Day Skipper shorebased course plus more advanced skills in offshore & coastal navigation by day & night, pilotage & meteorology.

How the course works‍

We meet on board Sidney II in Port Hamble Marina at 0900 on the morning of the course start date. Our instructor will walk you through the format of the course and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements from you

This syllabus is quite extensive so your theory knowledge should be that of at least a Day Skipper before the course begins.
